Gold, live — and the clock it keeps.

The live chart with every feature it has on the markets page, a complete read of gold across five timeframes — trend, order flow, levels, volatility, positioning and its links to silver, bitcoin and tokenized gold — the gold clock of the market's daily events, its four trading sessions from Sydney to New York, and gold's rhythm with a 24-hour foresight shown beside its own walk-forward record. The data is Binance's XAUUSDT gold perpetual, a USDT-settled contract whose index is built from spot XAU/USD prices; every price is shown in spot US dollars (USDT's own rate and the perpetual's premium to spot taken out live), the units of a broker's XAUUSD, and every number is computed in your browser from the exchange's public feed. The trading system does not trade gold — nothing on this page is its signal, and none of it is advice.

Live chart

XAU/USD · Gold

The contract is a USDT-settled gold perpetual that trades around the clock, weekends included, and every price on this page is shown in spot US dollars — the units of a broker's XAUUSD (MT5 and the like). Two things separate the contract from spot gold in dollars, and both are taken out live: USDT itself trades a little off one dollar (read off Binance's USDC/USDT), and the perpetual trades at a small premium or discount to its spot index (index ÷ mark, bar by bar). Left in, they put gold several dollars off a broker's price. Candles with the taker buy / sell split of every volume bar and a DELTA pane under it (market buys minus market sells per bar, with the CVD), ABSORPTION marked on the candles where heavy aggression failed to move the price, the FOOTPRINT of the bars this session's tape covered once you zoom in (sold and bought at each price, imbalances and the POC), EMA20 / EMA50, support & resistance zones with their touch counts, trendlines, swing structure, the volume profile of the bars on screen (POC and value area, informational), the order book's resting liquidity on the price axis, and the possible entries at the live bar with stop and target — plus the chart-call record that replays the same analysis over the loaded history and grades every call. Drag to move, pinch or scroll to zoom, tap a candle to read it, expand for the whole screen; the reads strip and the key fold open with their buttons.

Summary

The read, in one paragraph

Written in your browser from the panels below and rewritten as they refresh: a description of what gold is doing now, not a forecast.

Trend

Every timeframe, side by side

The chart's own analysis run on 15-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour, daily and weekly candles: the trend read, EMA 20 / 50 / 200, RSI, ADX with its directional lines, ATR, the MACD histogram, the SuperTrend side and the nearest support and resistance. It describes where gold stands, not where it goes next.

Order flow

Delta & absorption, timeframe by timeframe

Who has been aggressive in gold, and whether it moved the price: each timeframe's last bar delta — market buys minus market sells — the last 20 bars of price against the net delta, the last ABSORPTION (heavy aggression the passive side soaked up) or initiative read, and how every such read in the loaded bars played out five bars on, beside the same sides taken blind. The chart above draws the same reads on its candles, with its delta pane and the live bar's footprint.

Levels

The prices gold is trading between

The prior day's, week's and month's highs, lows and closes, the floor pivots, round numbers, the high and low since the contract listed (December 2025) and the 4-hour support and resistance zones — in price order, each with its distance from here in percent and in daily ATRs, and how often gold has taken out the prior day's and the prior week's range.

Volatility

How much gold is moving

Realized volatility over 7, 30 and 90 days, the daily ATR, how much of a typical day's range today has already covered, and the spread of daily ranges. Weekdays and weekends are measured apart: the gold market shuts from Friday evening to Sunday evening New York time, and this contract keeps trading through it on thinner liquidity.

Positioning

The crowd on the gold perpetual

Funding, open interest, the long / short account and top-trader ratios and the taker buy / sell flow of this contract — the positioning of its traders, not of the gold market at large. Descriptive readings, each with its sample; the exchange keeps the ratio histories for the last 30 days only.

Cross-market

Gold against silver, bitcoin and tokenized gold

The gold / silver ratio since silver's perpetual listed, how gold's daily returns have moved with bitcoin's (correlation and beta over 30 and 90 days), and the premium the tokenized-gold markets — PAXG and XAUT — carry over the gold index.

Gold and the US dollar

When the dollar falls, does gold rise?

The textbook says yes: gold is priced in dollars, so a weaker dollar lifts it. Measured here over 26 years of daily closes (COMEX gold against the ICE dollar index, 2000 → 2026, backtest/gold_dollar.py, every measure fixed before the data was looked at), the connection is real, strong and steady — the two moved opposite ways on two days in three, in every single year — and it is simultaneous, not a lead: the dollar’s move today does not foretell gold’s tomorrow once the cost of trading is paid, on days or on hours. Live, the panel reads the dollar off the exchange’s EUR/USDT market, inverted (the euro is 57.6% of the index; measured, its daily changes track the index at +0.82), beside gold: today’s two moves, the recent correlation and beta, the 60-day correlation since 2020 against the 26-year record, and the record itself, year by year. Descriptive — not a signal.

Daily events

The gold clock

Gold keeps a timetable: Tokyo and the Shanghai Gold Exchange open, London opens and runs the LBMA Gold Price auctions, US data lands at 8:30 New York, US stocks open, COMEX settles and CME pauses. Each event's next time in your zone and in its own, how gold's hour after it compares with an ordinary hour — in movement and in liquidity — and a walk-forward check of whether this timetable foresees when the day moves and by how much, judged by a rule fixed in advance. Timing and size only, never direction; holidays are not modelled.

Trading sessions

Sydney, Tokyo, London, New York

The four sessions of the 24-hour gold market, each in its own time zone and daylight-saving calendar: which is open now and when the next opens or closes, in your time; each session's latest range, high and low against a typical one, and the Asian range with what London and New York did to it; each session measured since the contract listed — how much it moves and trades, how often it makes the day's high or low; the trading day cut into its sessions and their overlaps; and how the sessions hand over to each other. Descriptive, never a forecast; holidays are not modelled.

Market rhythm

When gold moves — and what that predicts

In your own time zone: which hours carry gold's liquidity, which hours make its moves, how each weekday behaves, the weekday × hour map, a 24-hour foresight built from that rhythm and — right beside it — a walk-forward backtest of every claim the foresight makes, plus the hour-by-hour and day-by-day tables. Computed in your browser from the exchange's public candles; nothing is stored.

This page shows what gold is doing. The record shows what the system did.

The trading system does not trade gold — its basket is sixteen crypto perpetuals — so nothing on this page is its signal or its view. Everything here is computed in your browser for education; the chart technique is the markets page's textbook analysis, graded on gold's own history by its call record. The system's trades, every one of them including the losses, are on the record page.

Risk disclosure. Gold perpetual futures are leveraged, USDT-margined derivatives: XAUUSDT is a TradFi perpetual that keeps trading through the weekend while the gold market itself is closed, so it can move on thin liquidity and meet a different price when that market reopens — you can lose your entire balance. The charts, levels, readings and foresight on this page are computed in your browser from the exchange's public data for education — they are not the trading system's signals (the system does not trade gold) and not investment advice or a solicitation. Past performance does not predict future results.
